why i do what I do.....

I am now Fashion Director at Glamour magazine but following on from the success of my weekly column in the Sunday Times Style magazine I thought I would bring this page to life every week and also give you the chance to comment. This page is not for me to dictate what you should be wearing but to offer ideas on how to put wearable outfits together. Its not what you wear it's how you wear it!

Sportlux.....

This is one of my favourite styles of clothing relaxed casual wear that is great to dress up and feel sexy in!  This week you can win my favourite all in one in the final picture!  How would you wear it if it was yours?!  tweet me @nataliehartley or leave a comment on Facebook or on the blog and I will pick my favourite on Friday 22nd June...good luck!

TIP...if you love the sports trend then a silk bomber jacket is a key investment piece for you I have put it with a kilt inspired skirt but kept all the colours tones of white and cream as this is a fresh way to approach the trend but broken up with black to give this a tougher look

TIP...this is a great holiday dress and i love the grey marl use to make an evening dress perfect for daytime!  I have added high top trainers I love the studding on these which again gives this sporty look a tougher edge and the leather cap is a great piece to wear with or maybe on its own if these looks are too much for you!

TIP...for the ultimate sportlux look a silk all in one is my go to outfit it can be dressed up or down and love these wedge boots as they are simple to style against the jumpsuit and give a simple silhouette that loosely reference a sporty trend too the blue silk is a great way to get colour into your wardrobe

  1. I love this jumpsuit Natalie. I would wear it with an oversized blazer and heeled loafers to make it more androgynous and play up the silk by contrasting it with heavier jerseys and suedes. I love mixing textures in my looks x
